Your photos. Your machine.
Beta now live.
Live Gallery is a private, offline photo manager for Windows.
Point it at your photos and it just works.
No cloud account, no upload.
200+ people on the waitlist before launch.

Google killed Picasa. Microsoft killed Windows Live Photo Gallery. Nobody replaced either.
Between them, those two tools had tens of millions of loyal users. What came next was cloud storage dressed up as a solution. Monthly fees. Privacy trade-offs. Photos sitting on servers you don't control.
If you've been waiting for something local, fast, and simple since then, this is it.

Still using Windows Live Photo Gallery tags?
If you organised photos in Windows Live Photo Gallery before Microsoft pulled it, your tags and people names are still sitting inside your files. Live Gallery reads them and brings everything back intact the first time you open the beta.
Three steps - that's it!
Step 1: Download and install. Takes under a minute.
Step 2: Point it at your photos. Any folder, any drive, any size.
Step 3: Browse, search, and organise. Instantly.

This is a beta. We want your feedback.
Live Gallery Beta is free to download right now. It's stable enough for daily use, but it's still a beta, which means you might hit rough edges.
When you do, tell us. We read every submission and it directly shapes what gets built next.

Your photos have been waiting long enough.
Download Live Gallery Beta free and see what you've been missing since Picasa and Windows Live Photo Gallery were retired.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many photos does the beta support?
The beta is limited to 5,000 images. This limit exists to keep performance stable during testing. The final release will support significantly larger libraries.
Is my data safe during the beta?
Yes. Live Gallery runs entirely offline and never uploads your photos. We recommend keeping your own backups of important files before using any pre-release software.
Will I lose my organisation when the final version launches?
We're building with continuity in mind. Any tags, face labels, and organisation you set up in the beta should carry over to the final release.
Can I give feedback on specific features?
Yes, and we actively want you to. Use the feedback form on our website. Every submission gets read and fed back into development.
What happens when the full version launches?
Beta users will be notified by email. The free tier in the final release will support up to 20,000 images, with paid tiers for larger libraries.
